The past two weeks have been packed with unforgettable experiences. Visiting Da’ai TV and the Tzu Chi Foundation was inspiring—their simple yet efficient studio setup, the selflessness of their volunteers, and their recycling initiatives left a lasting impression. I was amazed by how they turn waste into useful materials like clothes, which they donate to disaster-stricken communities worldwide.
Performing in the Song Jiang battle was challenging but rewarding. The rehearsals were exhausting, but the energy from the crowd made it all worthwhile. It was a great way to step out of my comfort zone and channel some pent-up energy.
At TMU, I had the chance to learn about cardiovascular research with ApoE knockout mice. Despite struggling with the histology test, the hands-on experience was incredible and deeply enriching.
To top it off, I tried shrimp fishing for the first time, which was harder than it looked but still a lot of fun. These two weeks have been a whirlwind, but every moment was worth it!
