Song Jiang Battle

I think if there's a turning point in the program, this is it, this is the event that every single of us gave every bits of ourselves in it. I'm incredibly proud of everyone for having participated your 100% in it, thank you for being a part of NSB 2025.

I have always loved Group performance/sports/events, it's no longer about the individual, it's about the team! In the same time, I also had to practice intensively for my dance club, so December felt like such a fast month to me, but a relieving one as I could accomplish things I was super nervous about. I'm very honored as well to perform it as none of my Taiwanese friends have done it, so for a foreigner to perform it, I felt Taiwanese more than ever. The most impressive thing I learned from performing was probably the energy we delivered to the audience. With our makeup and the music and the hollering, I never knew how much energy can spread! We were the perfect opening for the night!

I want to give a couple of shout-outs: thank you Master for teaching us, love the passion he has for preserving this traditional art form, how he's inclusive towards having female performers and I'm excited to see where they will travel in the world to showcase the beauty of the dance and the Taiwanese spirits; thank you the injured people for keep fighting, I know you must have felt so much pain but you endured it for the sake of the performance; admire the efforts Phoebe and Sobia put in the performance, I could see how much you guys improved overtime!; applaud Rithana for giving your best, I could see it all on your face!; Esther's shoutings always give me the chills, really uplifted the mood of the performance! In the end, thank you everyone again for trying your best, your efforts were definitely shown in the performance.

Last but not least, thank you Lima for coming to see me perform. It was the first time someone was there, present, to see me onstage. I finally understood what it's like to be supported by friends, by showing up for people you love. Thank you for the love!
